Just got notification of acceptance of my grade dog Maggie for UKC registration. Had to send 4 photos from different sides /angles and provide parentage back through 4 generation. ! side was easy as her dad was my male tracker.SO all I needed on that side was an AKC number. For the mothers side. Just listed the past 4 years , owner of dogs. A couple of dogs down was a male that was akc.
Dog is about 12.5 inches and is good conformation and tricolor.
I do not know if this will let me entered her in trials.
But the process does work.

This is what I was told about from the head of the group that started the new BGA (Beagle Gundog Alliance). To be eligible for the UKC Gundog field trials sponsored by the BGA the dog has to be UKC Registered and out of AKC registered parents. I was concerned about grade dogs and mix breed dogs running in the UKC SPO Gundog trials but he said they weren't allowed.
