Although I am new to owning and running rabbit dogs I gotta say I’m totally hooked. Most definitely my favorite type of hunting I’ve ever experienced. Few things in this world make me happier than watching a pack of good dogs work a rabbit. With that in mind I must say I’m looking forward to meeting many of you at the Rabbit Dog Run in Somerset coming this January. I’d also like to add if anyone has any advice for a new Beagler , I’m open ears. I’d also like to send a big thanks to all the guys I’ve talked to on here so far that have been so welcoming and helpful on my journey.

He got a nice Blackcreek gyp named Booger Red. We took her out last weekend with mine, she needs whipped back into shape but other than that she will fit in good. His Payday pup is at the starting pen. She is very immature but is tracking, just gotta get a bit more confidence to start opening up. This time next year he should have a nice pack of gundogs!

He sure seems like a nice guy. We got quite a few litters that we will be starting soon. I will bring some next year derbies to the hunt. He may like the way they run.
appreciate the kind words Greenhaw, absolutely loving being a new beagler, looking forward to meeting you buddy ✊🏻
