So today I went hunting with my cousin who was trying out his young dog. I took one of my male dogs and that was it. We had three rabbits down already and they had been running this swamp rabbit for about 20 minutes. Now my dog does not bark a lot, but he is loud when he does. The other two dogs were getting out of earshot, and we thought it was rather strange because they were not responding to calls or shock. When we finally caught up to the dogs his two dogs were running a deer, but mine was no where in sight. I saw the deer, his dogs was chasing and I was going to be highly upset if my dog was with them. Luckily he was not, but I did not hear him or see him anywhere. We looked, hollered and used the shock collar, but no Pepper! I decided to ride around neighboring properties and just so happened to call my wife to let her know it would be a while longer because I was looking for Pepper. Now I live about 30 minutes away from where I was hunting, and thank the Lord a man just so happened to pull up at my house with Pepper! Evidentially Pepper had ran a rabbit up in this mans yard and somehow got into his dog lot. The mans dog had jumped on Pepper, hurting his leg. The guy didn't wanna just let him go being that he was hurt, so he brought him home. My number and address is on the collar, but my phone is messed up. I was so glad that this was an honest person! 4 up 3 down and a snipe (cause I hear its good). Had fun though!

Nice pictures AJ . I am glad to hear that you got your dog back and there are still good people with all the bad we hear on the news everyday . I can say that when my nephews house burnt down that reaffirmed that there are a lot of good people in this country . Complete strangers donating and offering help . I come to this site more for the good people than the dogs and rabbits . Good to hear a story like yours , but sorry to hear that he was hurt .

He was putting pressure on it yesterday morning when I left, so I think it was just sore. I just got back in town and will take a good look at him tomorrow morning when I feed him. Thank you for asking
