When I was clearing a path on my property , as I was picking up the brush a pine sampling limb whipped me in the eye . I was wearing safety glasses while cutting , but took them off while picking up the brush , not anymore . It hurt so bad that I could hardly sleep with my eye closed . The next day it was a lot better . I have also been hit in the eye by a branch while hunting walking through thick cover . I think that I am going to start wearing safety glasses while rabbit hunting .

Do any of y’all wear glasses for that reason while hunting ?

Been wearing safety rated shooting glasses for 15 years. I used to hear occasional bbs and thought it best to protect eyes. My buddy did get a bb go thru his cheek hit his tooth and he spit it out. Another friend shot and killed the rabbit and we tried to figure out how it happened and couldn’t. Only thing we came up with is ricochet.
Accidents happen..
