I was apparently a good boy this year (or I had Mrs. Claus fooled!) because my lovely wife got me a GoPro for Christmas this year to record my dogs with! I took it out a few times. I have a stick to hold it with, or the headband that came with it. The first video I took with the headband was mostly looking at the clouds. As of now, I like the stick better, but if I am going to record hunts, I will need to use the headband so I can hold a gun.
Does anybody have any tips on recording dogs with a GoPro?
Also, does anybody have editing software recommendations? In the past, I would have used Windows Movie Maker but that is not a thing anymore. I already have one run that I recorded that was broken into two videos. I would like to combine them, but all of the free online video combiners I have tried do not allow videos with such a large file size.
Any tips are appreciated on software or on how to shoot better videos.
I would also like to figure out if anybody has any tips on how to edit videos of my dogs to make them look more like @will messer 's dogs, maybe like a real rabbit dog... lol!
