Not sure my buddy is a logger was in a cutover maybe a mile off the road. Landowner said he doesn't know how they got there.

Didn't see the flush but my buddy was onloading. He said dogs were coming straight at him poudding he was thinking rabbit then with in 20ft they flushed. Said he liked too peed his paints

Harrell guy on bear swamp used to turn um out Years back some roosters would usually show up every year on our farm which is about 5 miles as the crow flies. Wish we could establish a population around here

We hunt one area that was full of pheasants last year . We shot 4 rabbits and 4 pheasants that hunt . Come to find out there is a doctor that has bird dogs and he raises or keeps pheasants to train his dogs . These are escapees that have established in that area .
