That’s awesome Vance I’m sure I’ll be somewhere across the country and won’t be able to make it but have you got something set up for sending donationsBehind the scenes there is a lot of work starting to go into the Junior Handler Trial. The committee has been setting the foundation for this great event. Lake City Beagle Club of Somerset KY has been gracious enough to allow us to use the grounds, free of charge, to host the trial. The members down there have been working the grounds up to get them in top notch shape for us!
It will be held Saturday, October 28th 2023. Clear the calendar, load up the dogs and your favorite hunting buddies and come join us!!!!
We are still working up the Standard and Procedures but have a good start.
There will be 3 classes...
The Puppy class will have kids 4 - 7 competing with a mentor along to help out. It will be run in Gundog Brace format.
The next division will be The Derby class for kids 8-13 in Brace to Small Pack format.
And the final will be the All Age class for youth 13 - 17 run in SPO format.
Here's where we need your help.... WE NEED JUDGES, VOLUNTEERS, DONATIONS, and any other contributions to see that this event is a huge success. WE HAVE THE CHANCE TO GET THESE KIDS HOOKED ON SOMETHING POSITIVE!!! LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!!!
