Hi im new to the forum. I figured i would join in the fun! Im from New York(not the city) so dont hold that against me.lol I have had beagles for over 20 years starting with grade hounds as my first. I currently have 2, a male and female. the male has alot of flat creek in his backround both top and bottom. The female i have has boggey holler teddy bear on her sires side and willow run on her dams side. Willow run is a kennel here in ny. I both run and hunt my hounds as often as possible and really enjoy my time with them. Looks to be a great site and i am glad to be able to be a part of it. take care...........John

Welcome aboard.

As you can tell this is a new site thats only been online for a little over a month but it seems to grow a little bit everyday.

Hope you like it here and visit and post often.
Glad to have you here John, I hear once you get out of NYC that New York is a beatiful state, more country than even Arkansas.
FB this site may be new but it has really nice features to it. Jeff i live about 100 miles northeast of the city and thats too close as far as im concerned. New york does have beautiful places to see and hunt if you can afford the taxes here. :smack: Thanks for the welcome!!
Thanks again for the welcome everyone :D
just curious about the dog you have that has flat creek in it. Is that flat creek kennel? As in Flat Creek kennels out of South Hill VA?
I believe it might be but i have never had anyone really give me much info on the line. I have asked on several boards for info on them and never really got too much. So do you know of any of these hounds? flat creek danny, flat creek virginia ll ,flat creek joshua, flat creek blake. He has these dogs top and bottom, but more on the top side. They are back in his pedigree a bit. I do know that his grandsire was out of Timber chopper otis and the gentleman that owned him went to viginia to pick him up. Otis was out of flat creek danny/viginia ll so im betting that its the same kennel that you speak of.
Those names sound pretty familiar. I have been hunting with flat creek beagles since i was 7 years old and they are real good hounds.
catignor my hound Cody is one of the best ive owned. He is probably one of the smartest beagles ive had.Hes the kind of hound that a seems to know what ya want from him. His desire to hunt is awesome and he handles real well. Hes pretty good on snow but he does have limitations with real bad conditions. Hes got a real loud bawl that makes me smile every time he opens and hes my bud.:thumb: Hes not perfect but my experiences with him make me agree that they are very solid rabbit dogs.:D
Crossroads thanks for the welcome!!
