My wife’s dog has had the scours for about 4 days now. She is a house dog so this has been a task. My wife took her to the vet yesterday and they did blood work and everything and said they could not find anything wrong and said it could be a GI bug. I’ve never encountered this problem without some type of parasite. Any ideas, I hate to see the old girl crapping water.

Years ago my local vet prescribed a mixture of browned burger and rice for issues like you describe. Used that with success with my Yorkie and beagle.

Give her some Pepto Bismal, (SPELLING) for the diarrhea. Make sure she drinks a lot of water if not, you might have to provide water sub-cue just under the skin on top of her back. Don't want her to get dehydrated. JMHO

Thanks for all the help guys ended up relying on vet meds that she was given and ole girl is doing better.
