They came to get dog food and swap out a couple dogs. Ms Will made me some Christmas Candy. My wife found it in the truck. It's gone now! Will brought me my pup I got through Mr John Taylor. He has no hair on his tail and very little on his lower Jaw. I turned him and something else Will brought. I killed a rabbit in front of them. They ant Gun shy. I need to put a handle on both of them but that won't take long. It's always good to see Mr Will.

As I had told you, I hadn't seen the pup run. Mr. Briscoe told me he was just green started, but showed he was going to have talent. I was tempted to get him, but have a kennel full that aren't getting run now due to me having health issues and since my wife passed away, my motivation to do anything is low these days. My 16 year old grandson has been coming over twice a week in the afternoons and wants to run dogs. He is trying to get me going again!! It is working, just have to get this old body going again. I gave him two dogs, a leash, beagle cap and Tally Ho stick. He is big time now, just need to get him going with a couple of nice young dogs, as most of mine are getting up in age. I gave him the two derbies I had, but neither are going to make it for the trials. The male is a TCP dog at best and the female could have talent, but some days seems to be moody and doesn't want to hunt, or hunts very little, other days is unbeatable, can't figure that one out. !!

Best of luck with your New Male, hope he is your future Field Champion!!!!

MR TAYLOR~ I ran that pup and thought very little of him----stayed with me---wanted to play ect to be honest i was disgusted with him---i threw him outta the running pen into the starting pen with ol'mammy dog----he barked and hung by the fence anytime he saw somebody. I came out and left him barking on the fence----i came back hour or so later and he was barking on a rabbit. he never let up from then on and he is a nice pup and should do good in trials or rabbithunting

GREAT!!!!!! I hope he gives many years of enjoyment. Mr. Briscoe usually comes up with special ones year after year. He isn't keeping as many as he use to and slowed down since his Field Trial travel partner, Joe Minix passed away earlier this year. He basically is just keeping a few TCP style dogs that he can enjoy in that format locally and do some gunning with. I gave him his best TCP style Male a couple years ago. Dog cannot be bought from him. He has put a little more work in him then I was able to and really developed him into a special one. I am just as excited that as if I still owned him. Wish I were younger and my health were better, as this male is special. He has produced his TCP packmates.
