I have a 4 month old male that every time he get in the box he slobber all over the other dogs. Looks like they have been in the rain. Does anyone have a good suggestion that has work for you. I mostly have short drives less than 10 minutes.

Put him in the box and ride him to town every chance you get. It's an anxiety issue, the more he rides the quicker he'll get use to it.

Have a gyp here that used to do same thing moved her from the compartment by the exhaust to other side. No more problem

That's interesting Culver, I always figured exhaust fumes could mess with a dogs nose. On cold mornings I usually let my old truck warm up then shut it off before loading the dogs then start it as I'm leaving.

Lots of young hounds do this. Most get over it the more they ride.

Its a pup most do it, keep him riding in the truck dog box he will get over it. He's just a baby, heck my daughter would get sick in the dog box and throw up. Just kidding -she did get motion sickness on trips, some is the newness and anxiety!
