Wondering if you guys have any suggestions for finding a lost handset. I’ve called garmin they can not give me coordinates and the app does not show the location. I’m out here now searching I’ve got a collar in my pocket and the app open.

I feel bad for you. I dropped my Alpha 100 one time crawling through a thicket. I crawled back through and found it. It has a glow in the dark case on it that really stood out. I was sick when I reached in my pocket and it wasn't there.

Make sure you register your units with Garmin that way if you lose it and someone finds it like I did , they can return it to you . Also if you have a friend with one , pair them so you can track it .

Well long story but it was on a lanyard tied to my chap suspenders. I got hot and started pulling clothes off and had to take suspenders off...didn’t tie it back

If it is on is there a way to pair it if some one comes close to where think you were when you lost it. I sure would like to try for you with mine

Lost my handheld unit for the first trashbreaker set I owned a couple of times. It was in a black nylon holster and hard to see in leaves or thick cover but I was lucky enough to backtrack and find it. After that I wrapped some orange duct tape around it which helped a lot. Good luck! Hope you recover it.

Try and find it , if you don't, go out again tomorrow and look for it, more then likely you will find it. JMO

Thats y I put mine on Lanyard and wear it around my neck so I can see it and glance at it all the time. Hope u find it Complex

Man you guys all sound like my wife 😆 I didn’t find it today guess I probably won’t. I was hunting pretty far from the house. Lost it Monday couldn’t find it then went back today still no luck. Was on public land I’m sure some guy is going to feel like he hit the lottery. Lesson learned is put them on the biggest brightest lanyard you can find and maybe attach one of those tile deals or have linked with another unit. I’ve had a couple very expensive lessons in the last month with this sport and it hasn’t got me down yet. Good news is God is good and when things like this happen there’s usually something really good around the corner.

Keep checking it’s laying there somewhere. Wish we were closer to help you search for it. That’s almost as bad as loosing a dog, hate to see anyone go through that
