I’ve got two good jump dog males but they cannot work tracks well to produce rabbit. I need a good lead dog that has good line control. Southern Indiana. Thanks

What size dog you wanting?
Not trying to tell you what to do but sometimes we need a outside opinion so here is mine . I would take a long hard look at the two you have because if they cant run a rabbit to circle it they will not be of any use to help the new dog you find .To me each dog should circle a rabbit solo and help with a pack. I hope I don't hurt you feelings just giving my thoughts
I need all the advice I can get. You’d never hurt my feelings on here. I’ve gotten rid of 5 dogs so far. I actually reached out and someone knowledgeable has agreed for me to meet up with him and watch them run. Thank you for all the replies and I’ve changed my mind not to buy a dog until I meet up with this guy and get some solid advice.

I like the idea of you looking for a steady running beagle, once you see and hunt with your new dog your whole dog owning will have changed for the better. Good luck to you, I hope you are able to find a dog or 2 that will make you proud to own a good running beagle. Just saying, JMHO
