Linebreeding and inbreeding?

    how close do you get before it considered inbreeding.I am trying to learn about linebreeding and how it works? thanks for your impute

    Thats an interesting article especially where it describes how they developed the Santa Gertrudis cattle.
     
  4. interesting for sure. Curious... could you breed a male pup back to the dam if she was the dog with all the traits you liked?

    If the pup had her traits and then breed her back to him, it would lock in the traits.

    In my oppinion, Rooster is linbred but his dad Jim Dandy is inbred because he was a product of a father, daughter cross.
