A friend of mine shot a deer with a 350 Legend. The deer jumped straight up in the air. My son and this guy tracked the deer for an hour plus, but it's still out there. Probably a yote's meal long ago.

It’s not so much what you shoot them with , but where you hit them . Shot placement is key .

Find some one who has a deer tracking dog that can find the deer, people train them to find the deer. JMO
