My oldest son got his 1st rabbit a few days before his 10th birthday. It was starting to warm up and the mosquitoes were out so after this shot i asked, " hey buddy you ready to go and get donuts and milk or what??"

He said "Get another one!!"

That’s still my first choice as a go to gun, I love mine and it show’s a lot of wear too. Last year my uncle gave me my great grandpa’s 410 to pass on to my son, it’s been through 8 young men using it and now it’s on the 9th. So now we have a pair of them

If gundog and hunting magazines would have articles and stories about kids and youth hunts in them, I would subscribe and read them. This is what it’s all about folks! Getting the young ones out and enjoying the outdoors, God’s creation, and the traditions of hunting! I would love to hear the story of the hunt to go with the picture.
