I've ridden there, never hunted. If i remember correctly, rabbit habitat is fairly spotty.
I've heard, but can't confirm that Connecticut hill near the speedway has some good rabbit habitat. Might be worth the drive.
I have heard the similar things. Thanks alot. I scouted some of Connecticut hill in the south east corner just found a few tracks and a stud deer shed.... had alot of rabbits around home in early season, now I'm not seeing as many. My dogs are 2yrs old and just catching on I'm hooked.
We just went on a long hike. No pickups but really great behavior. Some old tracks and they ignored all the fresh deer and coyote tracks. Im happy. I scent them with pelts and feet for thier dinner many nights. Im trying to keep them off of the lightening.
