It’s been 10 days plus of 90* or higher with no measurable rainfall. Throw in a baby rabbit , and this 4 month old pup i got from Rienmark is still giving it a try.

. He did manage to spook it out of that brush pile.

Good mouth and excellent determination to run that rabbit for a 4 month old. I would be happy with his effort on that one. Hardest time of the year to run.

So far I am impressed with how easy he’s been to get started. He rooted that baby rabbit out himself. I just walk him out to the brush and he does the rest.

    I can’t take any credit. It’s Rienmark’s doing.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say he won't be long to Circle a rabbit

He brought one by me twice yesterday. He could stand to get more consistent , he will run one great , then struggle on the next one. Lots of rabbits around about this size , so that makes it a little tougher too.

I like his mouth. The two littermates I have both have chop mouths. These pups definitely are figuring it out early.

TRKs two and mine from that litter just kinda started on their own. Mine saw a rabbit in the yard and went after it. Stuck his nose down as soon as it was out of sight. Squeaked once on it. That’s all it took.

Ken, I would bet she will start with very little effort.
