I just read this on facebook so I cannot guarantee it is legitimate but here is a copy of what was posted...There was also a picture of two collars with name tags. It is a shame to what is going on in this country.

For everyone that knows or may not know! 2 of our rabbit hunting beagles never came out the woods in Nelson county a month ago when we were running them! Well long story short! Some anti-hunting PETA bitch picked them up & took them to Almost Home! They ended up at the Nelson animal control where the collars were removed off them & we were never notified! They were later transferred to Amherst to be transported to New Jersey! Just so everyone knows There is some shady **** that goes on behind those closed doors in Nelson & Amherst! Everyone thinks it’s all great doings but it’s all about that check(money) for each dog!! We have had a meeting with the Captain of Amherst & there is no way we can get the dogs back! So this is what I brought home....collars but no dogs! We had Monday for 9 years & raised Sporty since birth! They were father & son! They were some good dogs & part of our family! So to the assholes that think they’re doing something right by “rescuing” our hunting dogs...hope you have a special spot waiting in hell! This has been such an emotional time for my family! Upset, mad, devastated, beyond pissed...I could go on & on! Our life must go on but to this rabbit hunting season...we will miss you boys!

I had someone holding 2 of my dogs this summer . They went on or near their house while running a rabbit and they caught them . I didn't know why they would not come back to the truck , so I lite them up twice and could hear that they were close and not moving , so I drove over there and they were holding them . It was all I could do not to whip the guys butt .

This is what our country has come to. Misfits are allowed to do what they want, no morals or common sense. These people worship animals more than God. And they have all banded together and vote. Some are animal rights nuts, or anti gun, or support queers, and others that have bad intentions. Years ago a dog theif was just that a theif, now they are heroes to the misfits. We must try to vote against these people when we can. Charges should be pressed if possible. Stealing dogs should have consiquenses, many in this country are just trying to destroy it. Christian, values and our western European based culture are under attack. One thing we can try to do is make train our dogs to be more stranger shy. Hard to do with some beagles, but I do have some of mine that no one can catch, but me and family.

I definitely would get a lawyer. I run pretty close to you in concord and we have people that has shot our dogs and took collars off of them while running. I know Virginia was trying to make it a felony to remove a collar from a dog but dont know if it passed or not but i do know it's a class 1 misdemeanor to remove a collar and take the dog and the person or persons can be held liable for any loss in money.

Yes Sir, I'll try to keep it short, local dog theif thought it was okay to drive on my place and take my Hard Knocking Stylish Hayes coonhound, when I noticed him missing I drove to his house and found him,I called state police, county, game warden, they impounded the dog, my neighbor saw his truck,my attorney filed 12 charges against him some we knew wouldn't stick, but that wasn't the point, 33 days later he pleaded no contest,I got my dog back,I drove to his house and we had a conversation. 2 weeks later he moved.....total charges I brought on him we're 10,015 $ I just wanted my hound back......it cost me a few bucks but it was worth every dime. I was keeping my last litter of pups in my garage under a fan because of the extreme heat here in Texas. One of my neighbors decides it's too hot in my garage having never had access and calls the cops who come to my house at 9:00 in the evening. They see the fan and my setup and quickly decide all is well...the end....heck no the next day here comes a lady with an electronic thermometer and checking on the other side of the garage determines its 86 degrees and declares that as being too hot wants me to put them in the backyard....in my opinion that almost killed them so I moved them back into the garage but installed an AC unit. A day latter here she comes back again...I was maintaining the temp at 80 and reluctantly she conceded......this may have been the same folks that checked me out for docking tails...

Boys my only reason for posting this info is ,you can cuss, spit, threaten, kick dirt, throw your hat, maybe kick his or her behind, but till you start having them to miss work,,fines, penaltys, hit there billfold, and possible jail time, lawyer fees, they won't get it.im not going to jail for one of my hounds, but it wouldn't bother me to have someone put in jail or try and ruin them otherwise for messing with my stuff..... I just bought a 120 acres last year , I am in the process of building a house on it now . I had a perk test done on it last Monday and the guy doing the test told me that he had already done a test on it up closer to the road . I told him that I didn't buy a 120 acres to build a house on the road and I want anyone that drives that far up my driveway to know that they made a mistake if they are looking for trouble .

LtElmer, I appreciate your opinions about dogs, but I really believe that this web-cite should be about Rabbit dogs and not religion. What did the blessed virgin have to do with Rabbit Dogs??

Yeah,... but jail time don’t bother me one little bit if it’s for a just cause!
If she didn’t leave immediately after I asked her to…… The cops would find me with her on my knee,... TANNIN THAT AXX!!! And me just a laughing mine off!:)

Don’t know if that would help her or not,... but it would do me a world of good!

I get what your saying ,you wanna take care of business right now,but it's hard to prosecute someone for trespassing or criminal trespassing when your locked up for assault and battery,in the long run you have lost and they won......now who's cause is just ? If he would do that to a person just think what he does to those poor dogs! ........just saying. I believe I would have called the cops,I think she has a weapon, maybe a gun, seemed to be on drugs maybe drunk, talking about hurting herself or someone, tried to get in my house......if you throw enough poop at the barn some of it will stick. I am know lawyer , but I do watch Judge Judy , LOL . But I do not think it is breaking the law if you ask someone to leave your property and they refuse and you remove them . I guess it could be a state to state thing . I was removed from a few bars when I was in my 20's the hard way , flying through the air .

I do agree with you Wilbur , it would be better to get the police involved if they are not doing anything violent or destructive and take a picture or video in case they leave before the police arrive .
