What do you use?

I was thinking about using some 1 x 2's and just spacing them about an inch apart.

Where did you buy that wire and do you remember how much it cost?

I bought it at a local feed store. I don't remember how much it costs a foot but the roll had a few feet already taken out of it and they gave me the rest of the roll but I only needed twenty feet. Lucked out. Usually they won't sell you just a few feet from a new roll and you have to buy the whole roll. I live in central Louisiana.

last longer than treated wood.

That plastic lattice is like gravy and biscuits, a good idea

yes it is but with the small 1" holes
it's 1/4" thick.

I tried the lattice one time and it does work and lasts a long time but the waste wont go through it like it does with the wire. Its probably a little easier on their feet though.

thats why i changed it.
one of my dogs had trouble walking on the wire.
and my wife kept hounding me to change it.

and you are right on the poop.
thats why i am picky on feed.
the better food has less waste.
easyer cleaning of the kennel.

I LIKE THE 2X4 TREATED WOOD SLATS WITH THE 1 INCH GAP MYSELF, ALL I HALF TO DO IS CLEAN UP THE GROUND AND THEY STAY CLEAN AND DRY.YOUR SET IS VERY NICE THOUGH.:wink:

How is it working for you?
Very easy clean up
,for me less than a minute.Every thing is on the ground
,its like a dog porty potty and much cheaper to build 8x8 +4x8 for like 600

This is where i purchased my flooring for my kennels. They are $11.49 a section. They are also inorganic which means bacteria and viruses can not thrive to live on it. Makes for healthier dogs. Hope this helps some of you out. I have had mine going on 3 months and love mine.
