Few Rabbits

Fewer spots every year, lose a fencerow or ditch cleared every year, plus more people showing up at the spots that are left, so yea, fewer rabbits.Best fence row we had was cleared last summer, and they have yet to plant a single bean on it. Where you hunt at shooter?

Shooter, have you ever tried just to the south of the interstate there below Marked Tree. I have always wondered about that spot.

Last year was the best year I guess Ive had since I was a kid but its completely different this year.

There doesnt seem to be nearly as many rabbits at most of our places this year.

There is some one running down there every weekend and I picked up a guys dog 2 weeks ago down there about 2.5 miles from where they were running lots of deer down there I called him and he came got him right then guy said they had 15 dogs out.

15 years ago our river bottoms were full of rabbits that's pretty much the only place we hunted if we went anywhere else it was a special trip.Now so much has gotten cleaned up and there are so many hawks,bobcats,and coyotes there are hardly any rabbits left we have to travel a lot more to find good hunting spots.
