Females are the proven, yet with Mr. Will’s FC male he is the predisposed.
I believe it’s the female as being the predisposed at a higher percent. JMO

My Late Uncle I Believe had the BEST outlook on breeding's
U Take a GOOD Dog and breed to a GOOD Gyp U will get GOOD Pups
U Take a GOOD Dog and breed to a SORRY Gyp U will get SORRY Pups
U Take a GOOD GYP and breed to a SORRY DOG U will get SORRY Pups

Occasionally a GREAT Dog will come along that U could breed to a Billy Goat and get good pups
