I have got eagles hunting in property now . I have seen one everyday since Sunday and today I saw two together .

They are usually closer to the rivers . I don’t see them often here , not that I don’t see them every now and then . I haven’t see one 2 days in a row before .

I have a love hate thing with eagles and hawks . They are beautiful birds , but they eat rabbits . Not near my house, but I saw one flying with one in its talons about 4 months ago .

They feed on the landfill up above you, beautiful white headed turkrey buzzards.

I have seen them eating a dead carcass right with the buzzards .

You prob know that’s why I believe it was Ben Franklin was against them being our national symbol. They scavenge. He wanted the Wild Turkey. I love my turkey but I’m not sure bout this one. Perhaps a Golden woulda been cool. I don’t think they scavenge.

Anything that can fly down and catch a fish and keep flying is a skilled hunter.They are a rare sight around here.Known to be around center hill lake.I m sure they can fly 75 ml. down here for a afternoon hunt in no time.

I'm in fauquier, got a buddy down there I run/hunt with, he has alot of land access in king,queen,[email protected], k.william and Tidewater area

The Deep South Costal Marsh areas are FULL of them and their nests.

If you seeing two togather---they are pairing up for life---AND LOOKING FOR NESTING AREA-----when they move in on you----so does the DNR----you are not allowed to disturb them

I would like to donate some eagle and hawk feathers to one of the Native American tribes near me . As far as I know they are the only people that can possess feathers from them .
