How many of you run the Pathfinder’s? Opinions versus Garmin? Also, will the regular Pathfinder’s fit beagles or do you have to run the Mini’s on beagles?

Love the Pathfinder. I have no experience with Garmin. We run both size collars, depending on the size of the Beagle.

Following this as well. Can’t decide between the pathfinder and the garmin 550.

hate the thought of having to use my phone to tone and keep up with my dogs. That’s the reason I love hunting. Not having to have a phone on me.

I am leaning towards the pathfinder myself. Just can’t justify cost difference for Garmin when ultimately you get the same results.

i would argue you probably get bet results from the dogtra but the having to have my iPhone is a real bummer for me.

I’ve had the pathfinder for about 3 years now and love it ! Switched from Garmin and haven’t regretted it at all. I’m up to 10 collars. The full size collars fit my dogs fine but I will probably try the minis soon. Dogtra is a smaller company so customer service / warranty is very quick and friendly.

I have the pathfinder with mini collars never had a garmin. I am happy with the pathfinder so far have it for 2 years now I think I bought it because it was cheaper.

They are all around 14” but range a bit in build. I have two females that have a very small frame but haven’t had any problems with the collars being to large.

Did you have to buy a battery charger for your to take with you and charge in the field ?

If I hunt all day the collars may only be down to around 75%. I’ve never even came close to running the battery’s dead. I will even hunt 2 & 3 days on the same charge and even then leave them on after the hunt to draw the battery dead before recharging.

My pathfinder mini collars only last about 16-18 hours. I can hunt two days on a charge.
