Who has a AKC hound that hunts hard, has good line control, runs a medium speed or a little better with a good handle and good looks? Something that’ll hunt just as good alone as it does in a pack? Prefer a female but will look at all.
I know Richard Sawyer and his son David had have serval that fit your description very well just a slow for SPO trailing at the moment but will do what you are looking for as good of any you will find.Same one posted earlier today lemon colored mail and had a couple of females a few days ago which they have so many hounds to go through..

I wasn’t judging your character at all. Hope you find what your looking for!!
Thank u and sorry for snapping at u, I guess I was just prepared for someone to think I sold something sorry and was now looking for another and that just isn’t the case at all. I’m just looking for a different style dog than what she was.

I sold one today for the same reason just not what I want in my kennel but a heck of a dog! Hard to let them go for sure. I really hope you do find something (and me too) haha

Those type of hounds are hard to raise, find and get. I'm lucky I own three of these hounds but had to pick though alot of other hounds to get them. You can spend alot of money and time trying to buy such of a dog because what you want most people will not sell. Most of the time when you buy a hound trying to get one like this, it falls short of your expectations. I wish you the best of luck.

You just have to remember there are no prefect dogs out there. You can come close but even the best has their faults. Most of the time when I sell one of my top hounds is because I have owned the dog for a long while and just want to see something different. This is when I usually regret sell such a dog. Then I go on a spending spree and never seem to replace the hound that I sold. I Know I will do it again; but I have issues too.

They’re definitely not easy to come by. I buy nice dogs... beagles, squirrel dogs, and coonhounds, most of the time I sell them because they lack just a little something, things that most wouldn’t even notice. Done this my whole life, I think Ive got some issues lol.
So if they lack a “little something” it sounds like a little breeding might get you exactly what you want?

I had one, but she died 2 years ago at a good age of 12. Peaches was her name, 3rd generation in my backyard and was my best all around dog. No faults in the field,in the kennel, in the house. Quite frankly she was human like, lol ,she just knew and understood her role . She is missed greatly to this day.

Had a guy offer me some $$$$ when she was in her prime, couldn't do it.
