Any of you guys having deer problems. Knock on wood I haven't but have talked to two or three that have had deer races out of dogs that don't normaly touch them. Wonder if they let em sit up too long during deer season?

some of my dogs ran one early then put shock collars on them no more pro blem
never leave home without the collars on
Im the same way. I cant say this year has been any better or worse but I dont take the chance. At least with the collars on I can stop one if they do get on it.
We had one about a week ago. We were hunting a spot with very little sign and the dogs got into deer. I checked the track to make sure they were actually on deer and then they both got a dose of level 6 from tri-tronics. That broke that race down in a hurry. I dont usually have too much problem with deer but im glad they were wearing the collars.
I never leave home without my collars on my dogs, I like to have that insurance just in case
had my 9 yr old female run one fist trip out this yr one of two she has ever run. I got so mad however I think it was my fault hadnt had the time to run, and I think she just wanted to run something! gonna put the pads with break scent on the collars that with the whippin she got should take care of the prob.
I'm just putting a pack together and I have not run anything but rabbits thank goodness. I do have tritronics and not afraid to use it if needed.
