I was wondering what others were having to pay their vets for the test, I took one today and nearly fell over when told the cost. 82.34. Wow!

That is highway robbery. Problem is first time visit, wellness check and then the test. They have you coming and going.
If that dog was never there before the costs mentioned above will be charged.
I had a female that was going to be bred to my male I took her to get the test the vet and I argued that she needed to be seen for first time visit, wellness check. I TOLD HIM ITS WAS NOT MY DOG AND I NEEDED THE BRUCELOSIS TEST ONLY IF HE WANTED HISTORY OF THE DOG CALL THE OWNERS VET TO GET HER RECORDS. He was pissed, I ended up just getting the test. $25.00.
I have not gone back to him.
