Dan's have always served me well and yoder briar chaps...never used mule...they have been around a while ...I'm sure they would do the job just fine..
I ordered some Mule chaps from Okie. I used their measurement method they have on the website, and they fit perfect. I liked the water proof option they had and the pockets in the side. If you have any question before ordering on fit, I bet they can answer any you have .

I like Mule chaps and bibs . Jackets and coats I like Dan’s . But something I like about buying from Okie’s , they will do some custom work on the Mulegear . I have wide shoulders and short arms so I order a ex large coat the arms are way to long . They cut them to my length . Fits like I want it to fit then .

I’ve had Dan’s and mule like em both. Dan’s are lighter and easier to move in. The mules are stiffer but turn briars better
The people that make the mules take care of individual needs, they are good people, treat you like family, I have one coat, and two sets of bibs. The bibs, I took and waxed one pair, and made them water proof. Or you can buy them with a water proof liner I believe. I wear my waxed pair when working on wet or snow covered ground, while working on vehicles. Wear them while cutting wood and brush. One time I had a chain saw kick back and those mules probably saved my leg or more. If you just want them for hunting or running dogs, they are great for that and so much more. Good for tracking deer in briars. I keep my non waxed ones sprayed in permethrin and wear them when I think ticks or chiggers may be a problem. Also mix permethrin in the wax when waxing the other pair. For work outside or hunting you can not go wrong with mules. And they are some of the nicest people to deal with.

I have Dans Bibs, Mule Coat (slick kind not the canvas feeling stuff), my son has the Canvas feeling Mule chaps. All are good, no problem with any of them. I dont like the canvas oil skin feeling stuff. I like the nylon slick feeling stuff. But either company is good and will take care of you. Ford vs Chevy kind of thing.

Had dans for almost 20 years, im due for another set. They held up great, but now they are beat up after 20 years , year round training, running, hunting.

I have Mule Chaps from Okie. Followed the instructions on how to measure them and they fit perfectly. I can't remember what it was but I messed up something on my shipping address and billing address and they called me before they sent anything out and wanted to make sure everything was correct. Id use Okie anytime. Great customer service

First time on here, been hunting/trialing beagles over 50 years. Mule clothing is hard to beat and okie dog supply is very good to deal with.

I have both, Like both. But mule bibs are stiffer and can take “whoa” briars Better.
