If you female stood for the male and got bred I would imagine she had a ( silent heat) and yes it’s possible she could have pups , I’m not a veterinarian

You mean in heat but no swelling or bleeding?

A hunting buddy took a bitch and bred to Kalagha a couple decades ago. The bitch showed no physical signs of being in heat. No swelling. I was skeptical that she would take a dog, that he could penetrate her, and I was confident she would require a C-Section. She gave birth to a big litter with no problems.

Had a female get hunt in a box at a field trial one time. She was most definitely not in heat and had no pups.
Old man in my beagle club had a male he made ride in a small box behind his big dog box cause whatever ya put him in box with he would hang!!!

That seems like maybe what I had to happen
I’ve never in my lifetime seen a female that would stand for a male and get tied that wasn’t in heat. I’ve had females that was kenneled with another female that was in heat and take the female that wasn’t in heat and put in kennel with a male and the male get excited and try to ride her but they usually get put in their place pretty quick by the female. I’m not saying what Johnathon said isn’t true. I’m just speaking on my own experience. I think anything is possible and believe Johnathon. I’ve just never witnessed it personally. I have seen what Wilbur said. (Silent heat) and it can be hard to tell with most of those. I keep Log on my females heat cycles. So I know when to be looking and expecting them to come in heat. If I was you, I would put her in kennel next to a mature male. Different male than the one that tied with her and step back a ways to observe how they act towards eachother. If the male is trying to get to her and her him then you will know if she is in a silent heat or you just witnessed a very unusual experience. Jmo

Me either.
I think it was Les Blondino, told me he once bought a young dog that would constantly try to breed every bitch he was with.
He said he kenneled the dog with the meanest bitch in his kennel. After few few days the dog was cured. He eventually made Field Champion.
