Anybody been doing any hunting this week or just been out running the dogs.I know FB and Ninja Turtle have been running some.I've been having to work the last 7 days got 3 more to go before my vacation starts and was just wondering how everyone else was doing.

Going to get to go the day after Christmas. A buddy of mine is coming in from Fayetville to go hunt some swamp rabbits with me

This isnt a very good year for us so far.
There just doesnt seem to be very many rabbits in the places that Ive been hunting. We went yesterday and turned the dogs out and had a rabbit jumped before we even got our guns uncased.
It took us an hour to jump another one.

whats up FB, you were quick to tell them when i missed, but not so quick to let them know when i connected. after seeing those six month old pups run like they were, i told crofford i was thinking about selling my two males and sticking with females. even though both my males are young, i want more hunt. what do you think??

I am going to solo those two males a lot and see what they will do, but right now i am leaning towards selling them and getting two more females.

Me and odocoi went today in the monsoon. I was wet from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet but it sure was fun. I didnt think I was still mad enough at em to go in rain like we had today but I guess I was.
They were sittin' tight and hard to jump but once you got one up the dogs did a pretty good job with em. We only killed two but had several others that we just couldnt get a shot at.
We also had a couple of misses. Aint that right odocoi? :razz:
