I have a friend Mr. Charles Camp in Atlanta that runs with Northeast Beagle Club in Georgia and he is 90 something and is having to quit because of health reasons. His number is 404-401-9976. You may have to ask to speak to his wife as he is very hard of hearing. I have never seen these dogs run they look good, well kept. The only dog I ever got from him was well trained and and I still have him. He says they will jump a rabbit and run him into the ground. I think they are 2 males. 1 of which just came out of a finishing pen so young. Charles has never had this dog out. You will have to get pedigree info from him. 2 females, one whom has puppies (4) whelped in January. Do not contract me just Charles. He wants $250 for each dog. good luck maybe a chance to get a running pack cheap. They may be a member here who has seen these dogs run.

Come Saturday I will be donating my last dog to Volunteer Beagle Club to be raffled off. That will be the end for me. At 79 and with bad legs, I can't go on. It has been a good ride. Got my first two beagles at about 15 or 16. Have owned beagles off and on ever since. I have made a lot of good friends, enjoyed being a member of the old North Georgia Beagle Club, Music City Beagle Club and Volunteer Beagle Club and field trialing since 1974. All good things have to come to and end some day, but it is my hope that clubs will continue for the sake of our youth.

Mr Dunn, I wish you the best. What I see and hear about you , you made a positive impact on the beagle /rabbit dog community! That is the best we can do as houndsmans that try to better the breed sport. I tip my hat to you and please keep active on this site.

If you ever in NJ, feel free to give me a shout.
