This old gentleman is Timber, who was best hound in the pack for several years. Now past 12 and retired. I’d like to have a dollar for every rabbit he started during his long working life. Today, he is represented by 6 offspring in the pack, from 4 different litters, and has puppies and grandpuppies around the country. Sad to see them get old, though.

It's always sad when the old dog can't go run any more. Good memories with him and his offspring. JMHO

Mammy and Mollie are retired and i give them the run of the farm---they run when they please and have food always in their bowl..---they are grey and not many teeth left but they served me well and i will serve them now. THANKS for keeping the old man-----lot of people dont and get rid of them

Huntsman the old Warrior still looks good ,I'm with Mr. Will he deserves to live large I commend you for keeping him and caring for him (alot of people dont ),To Tell you the truth when my best old male Boone had to be put down I was done ,Him and myself gave it all we had to keep him around but in the end he couldnt control his self peeing and such and in real pain and I finally had to be a man and have my vet put him down ,I was devastated but couldnt watch it anymore , I never had much interest in keeping my pack after that ...just wasnt the same with him not around ,then losing places to run and such done me in ,
Keep them running and enjoy it

What a fine looking old veteran. With as often as you run hounds I'd say he's lived about as good a life as a beagle can live, doing what he loved day after day. His legacy lives on in his offspring. Hope his golden years treat him well.
