I love to see such pictures!!!! I gave one of my grandsons two derbies and a double leash. When I see him in the yard, he is wearing the leash around his neck most of the time. He walks his dogs daily often several times. I think he is giving me the hint he wants to go run the dogs. Since he doesn't drive, I drive him when I can and get great enjoyment seeing this young man enjoying his dogs like I did when I was his age. I hope he continues loving his Beagles like I do and did at the age he is. I have him set up with a leash, dogs and a new pair of camo rubber boots. Talk about a proud young man when he has all his duds on!!!!! I guess once he starts driving he may not need me anymore, (doubt it) He will tow Poppa along. He is looking at next years derbies now and updates me on how they are behaving, giving me views of the ones he prefers. Might be a hint!!!!!

I like what you wrote, when I got my first dog I would put him on a leash, get on my bike and ride with the dog at my side 1/2 mile to the nearest swamp to get him started. I did this what seem forever, when he got started I still did it. When hunting season started I would leave our house with the dog and walk/hunt to our other farm 3.5 miles away and then work/hunt my way back home with ducks, pheasants, rabbits, partridge, squirrels. It was close to dark, fed the dog cleaned the game. I then would get up the next day and do it all over again. I couldn't wait to drive, I could hunt other areas with me having my license. That was my weekends, along with throwing my chores in the mix. We as a family ate very well, love the wild game. JMO

I know y’all gonna find this hard to believe but I like that lemon. Lol. That’s my favorite color dog. I’m down to 1 female now and she’s 11 going 12 but she still gives it her all. She’s getting a lil loose mouthed the older she gets but I’m gonna run her till she can’t or won’t.
Time to get another Lemon, Circle JMO
