It was a good aside from it getting pretty warm.
Most places that I hunt in Maryland usually produce good numbers. I only hunt most spots once a season and they usually produce between 8 to 30.Have not seen that many rabbits in one hunt since 1980s
Come on updang I may have too make a hunting trip that area someday
There was five dogs and four shootersNice haul. How many dogs were down and how many shooters?

We have a lot of fox and coyotes are are being seen more and more. The farmers son is a trapper so that makes a big difference. Here in Maryland predator hunting has became big among sportsman the last few years. I predator hunt some of the properties that I rabbit hunt, so I help out the farmers livestock and the rabbit population and I have fun doing it. Before I started predator hunting a few years ago we had brought 170 chickens from TSC after they were big enough we took them out of the barn and they were moved to where the chickens are kept. About 3 months later we were down to 7 chickens. So imagine what predators can do to the rabbit populations.Really envious of "guys" that have access to that kind of population. Not sure I could kill that many in a month where I hunt. Does remind me of the 50s,60s,70s and 80s, (the decades before the infestation of a variety of predators and habitat destruction).
I just have them fried and then simmer in gravy until I can pull the bones out of the meat. And sometimes I put them on the grillThat's a great day. Now the question is , what you going to make for dinner with those?
