IMO it depends on how old the dog is, how long you run them during a days time and what type of
cover you are running them in. I hunted a place yesterday that's as thick as I have ever seen
we hunted ...

light coating of cedar shavings in the summer and this time of year I use hay and mix a few
cedar shavings in with it to help them smell good.

I think a lot of dogs now are hunting for the track instead of looking for where the rabbit is
likely to be.

they work good..but from time to time you will still find a few ticks on your dog. but most of

Its not brains, its nose power. . . too much power is too much mouth. . . when you see dogs
that minus out in hunts when there are no rabbits up or when there is a rabbit it may be soo
hot or soo cold...
