Default Snake bite treatment

Had a friend recently who had one of his beagles get snake bit.
Got me to thinking.
I know the treatment is Benedryl & antibiotics, but what are the dosage amounts.
Thanks, al.

I do benedryl 1cc per 3lbs. Penicillian 3cc for a adult or 1cc for a pup. This has worked well for me. I then keep a check on the bite itself for several days after and for about a week to see if it looks infected, if it even seems odd Ill give them a follow up shot of penicillian.

Is this all over the counter stuff or does it have to come from the vet?

racehorsemeds.com sells dex might be a lot stronger than the one for dogs don't know but about the only place I've seen that sells it without a prescription.
